Death Worm

Death Worm puts you in control of a colossal burrowing monster that treats the surface world as an all-you-can-eat buffet. You tunnel beneath the desert at speed, then explode out of the ground to swallow pedestrians, wreck vehicles, and swat helicopters out of the sky before slipping back underground. Each stage sets a destruction quota, and the chaos escalates as the military response ramps up around you. It is gloriously simple arcade carnage with a satisfying loop of diving, striking, and vanishing before retaliation lands.

Best suited to arcade fans who want cathartic, monster-sized destruction in quick bursts..

1. Steer the worm underground to build up speed and position beneath targets.
2. Launch out of the soil to snatch people, animals, and vehicles on the surface.
3. Chain attacks on aircraft and armed units before they whittle down your health.
4. Collect bonus pickups that boost attack, defense, or movement speed.
5. Reach the stage's target score or destruction count to advance.

• Your health bar is depleted by enemy gunfire and explosives
• You fail to reach the stage's score target within the limit

• Attack from deep below at maximum speed for the highest breach arcs and biggest combos.
• Take out helicopters first; they chip away at your health faster than ground units.
• Grab defense bonuses before the heavy armor waves arrive in later stages.
